Во многих странах мира дефицит витамина D является глобальной проблемой здравоохранения. Неадекватный статус витамина D имеет серьезные медицинские, социальные и экономические последствия и требует проведения своевременной диагностики и адекватной коррекции.</p></sec><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель. Оценка встречаемости недостаточности и дефицита витамина D среди населения, проживающего в регионах РФ, расположенных в широтах от 45° до 70°, и анализ взаимосвязей статуса витамина D c различными факторами (демографическими, социально-экономическими, географическими и др.).</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Многоцентровое поперечное исследование методом случайной выборки среди лиц обоего пола в возрасте от 18 до 50 лет. Изучение уровня 25ОНD в сыворотке крови добровольцев проводилось в лабораториях ООО «ИНВИТРО» методом хемилюминесцентного иммуноанализа в два этапа: в период март–май 2020 г. и октябрь-ноябрь 2020 г. В 1-м этапе исследования приняли участие 500 добровольцев (77% женщин, 23% мужчин). Демографические и социально-экономические характеристики, ассоциированные с уровнем витамина D факторы оценивались с помощью специально разработанных анкет.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. В настоящей статье представлен анализ результатов 1-го этапа. Выявлена высокая распространенность дефицита витамина D (56,4%) и его недостаточности (27,9%) в целом по России, то есть 84,3% населения в возрасте 18–50 лет нуждаются в назначении колекальциферола. Наибольшая распространенность низкого статуса витамина D обнаружена в Санкт-Петербурге, Архангельске, Кызыле и Ростове-на-Дону (более 90% участников). В большей степени снижение уровня 25ОНD наблюдалось у мужчин, чем у женщин (p&lt;0,05), а также у молодых лиц в возрасте 18–25 лет (p&lt;0,05). Значимых зависимостей статуса витамина D от антропометрических параметров, количества дней нетрудоспособности выявлено не было. Однако лица, посещающие солярий или находившиеся под прямыми солнечными лучами не менее 30 дней в году, имели более высокие уровни 25ОНD, а пользующиеся солнцезащитными кремами — более низкие.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Полученные данные подтверждают повсеместную распространенность дефицита и недостаточности витамина D в стране (84,3% участников), как правило, не связанную с географической широтой проживания, что диктует необходимость назначения препаратов витамина D значительной части населения.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Background</title><p>Background. A vitamin D deficiency is a global wide health problem. Inadequate vitamin D status leads to serious medical, social and economic consequences and requires timely diagnosis and adequate correction.</p></sec><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim: to assess the incidence of vitamin D deficiency among the population living in regions of the Russian Federation located at latitudes from 45° to 70° and to study its relationship to various factors (demographic, socio-economic, geographical, etc.).</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. A multicenter, cross-sectional, randomized study of individuals of both sexes aged 18 to 50 years. The study of 25ОНD level in the blood serum was carried out by INVITRO LLC laboratories using chemilumescent analysis in two stages: in the period from March to May 2020 and from October to November 2020. The first stage of the study involved 500 volunteers (77% women, 23% men). Demographic and socioeconomic characteristics, factors associated with vitamin D levels, were assessed using a specially designed questionnaire.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. In this article we present the results of the first stage. A countrywide high prevalence of vitamin D deficiency (56.4%) and insufficiency (27.9%) was revealed, that is, 84.3% of the population aged 18–50 years requires cholecalciferol supplementation. The lowest vitamin D status was found in St. Petersburg, Arkhangelsk, Kyzyl and Rostov-on-Don (over 90% of participants had inadequate levels). A decrease in the level of 25ОНD was observed to a greater extent in men than in women (p &lt;0.05), as well as in young people aged 18–25 years (p &lt;0.05). No major association of vitamin D status with anthropometric parameters, the number of days of disability, were not found. However, those who went to tanning beds or were in direct sunlight for at least 30 days a year had higher levels of 25ОНD, and those using sunscreens had lower levels.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
