Обсуждается механизм действия препарата, сходства и отличия по отношению к другим препаратам для лечения остеопороза. Подробно представлены результаты II и III фаз клинических исследований деносумаба, в том числе в сравнении с алендроновой кислотой и возможности назначения деносумаба после лечения бисфосфонатами.
